After a lot of planning, I finally made my way up to Final Bout Special Stage Northwest. On the Friday prior to the event, me and my friends went to go check out the RPSWorks cars, unfortunately I did not have my camera with me at the time, so I just grabbed a bunch of iPhone photos for my archive. However the following morning, my camera was charged and ready to jam so I brought it along. The first team I spotted after RPSworks was team Auto Real Dream. Their 2000s Kira Kira style liveries were executed pretty well.
My favorite car from the team Tandem Knights. Love the Msports aero and the chrome 57dr’s in the front. Very cool and simple look.
Drift team Villains was back for this years Final Bout. Their S13 coupe had this super cool air-jack system like all the cool race cars have. Love seeing things like this because it keeps pushing the envelope on what can be done with these chassis.
Last but certainly not least are my photos of team RPSworks. These cars were honestly some of the best cars I have seen in awhile and everything angle was just super photogenic. Every car had it own style and they all tie together in that beautiful Kei Office green.
On my way back from Final bout on Sunday, I decided to drop by Good Luck League at Thunderhill Raceway to see whats going on. Turns out most of Animal Style was there and a lot of other drivers as well! I snagged couple pics before heading back on the road to close out an amazing weekend.
My personal favorite from this team was this R32. Cool aero choice and the classic Blitz 03s. Although later in the day he was running a pair 57dr’s in the rear which I think is a good look, the blitz 03s suit the car nicely.
Danner from team SOICYBOYZ newly refreshed 1jz S14 sitting pretty in the pits. SOICYBOYZ placed first in the comp with some killer runs and some well rounded cars. Hope to see them out in Wisconsin for Final Bout 8.
In the pits I spotted this super cool JZA80 Supra camper rig. Affinity Circuit is also free camping ground so most people who come over to drive usually spend the night at the track. Seeing a supra get used and driven like this is super cool because most now don’t get to even leave the garage anymore.
These cars truly speak for them selves. From Derek’s Gp Sports car having a 3.4L 2JZ, Yev’s car having a classic Mid-Mount TD06 SR20, to Ruvim’s Car having a top mount SR20, and David’s car having a LS1. Regardless of the powerplant differences, the team drove together very nice and placed 2nd in SSNW. Im excited to see how they perform at the Mainstage in Wisconsin. Reach for the Summit!
