In September 2023, I took a trip to Tokyo to visit some good friends and make our journey to Suzuka Circuit for F1. We began our voyage from Tokyo and began driving towards Nagoya. Although the race was the next day, we wanted to get there early to watch qualifying. I did not get many photos at the actual event, but the journey proved to be very eventful.

Unfortunately on the way there, we blew a tire! It was bound to happen because the tires were pretty much on wires, but it was worth the chance because we did not want to pay for new tires. We limped the car into the town of Toyota, funny because we were driving a Toyota. We found a tire shop called Mr. Tire-man, and they were super helpful! We walked over there to explain to them our situation, then they came out and helped us get a spare on so we can go to their shop.

As you can see, the tires were pretty cooked. The shop offered us some used tire replacements that were healthy enough for us to get to Nara for our hotel and back to Tokyo after the event was over. After all was said and done, we spun back to the shop to give them some brews from the local Konbini and thanked them for the help. We then made our way towards Nara, were we would be staying for the night.

One of the shop employees had this very nice AE86 2 door Trueno. It had a 4 throttle 4AGE 16V with a nice bolt in cage. Very tasteful and the owner was very happy to talk about it. Too bad I never snagged a photo of the engine bay.
